Find Out What’s Causing Your Sleep Problem

Many people suffer from sleep deprivation, and often the cause is a sleep disorder like sleep apnea, restless legs syndrome or narcolepsy.

Warning signs may include:

  • Extremely loud snoring
  • Waking up frequently
  • Extreme sleepiness during the day
  • Concentration difficulties
  • Irregular breathing or increased movement during sleep

For over a decade, the Sleep Center Lab at Regional Medical Center has served the surrounding communities in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related disorders. Upon arrival, our caring and competent staff meet with you to explain the expectations of the overnight stay. These certified sleep technicians will be responsible for the monitoring of your sleep patterns throughout your test while ensuring the most comfortable visit possible. A board certified sleep physician studies the results to diagnose and recommend the appropriate treatment plan.

Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea alone affects more than 22 million Americans, a majority of whom are middle-aged men. Risk factors include being male, overweight and over the age of 50 but this life threatening sleep apnea can strike anyone at any age.

Take a moment to view this brief questionnaire. Knowing your risk profile will enable you to take control of your health and provide you with the best defense against sleep apnea.
