Sometimes it can be helpful just to talk to someone in similar situations. Getting involved and sticking with a support group will challenge people to get beyond their limitations. RMC sponsors many support groups to help those with conditions or diseases better deal with challenges and problems. Some of these support groups include Lupus Support Group, Breast Cancer Support Group, Cancer Support Group, Stroke Support Group, Multiple Myeloma Support Group, and Amputee Support Group. For a complete listing, see RMC's Community Calendar.
RMC commits extensive resources to give direction to young people in our community. Through such programs as Medical Explorers, internships, Summer Enrichment, and the Junior Volunteers, young people in the community are exposed to a variety of medical professions.
