New Chief Operating Officer Joins Regional Medical Center

The Regional Medical Center (RMC) is pleased to welcome Nicole S. Hendricks, MHA, FACHE, as its new chief operating officer (COO). Effective July 15, 2019,Hendricks will direct day-to-day operations of the hospital and related facilities and ensure that operations are appropriately aligned with the organization’s strategic plan.

Hendricks joins RMC from Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center in Davenport, Fla., where as COO she was responsible for providing leadership and operational guidance for rehabilitation services, imaging, wound care, total joint replacement, bariatric surgery, laboratory services, facilities, security, food and nutrition services, environmental services, real estate/contracts, physician practices, urgent care, occupational medicine and business development for new service lines.

Prior to Heart of Florida, Hendricks served as COO at Bartow Regional Medical Center in Bartow, Fla., and as vice president of operations for Belton Regional Medical Center in Belton, Mo. In these roles, Hendricks directed operations for a wide variety of hospital services, including cardiology, oncology/infusion therapy, rehabilitation, laboratory services, pharmacy, imaging services, facilities, food and nutrition services, security, environmental services and cardiopulmonary services.

Hendricks also served as an associate administrator at the Research Medical Center in Kansas City and Palmyra Medical Center in Albany, Ga. Hendricks earned her bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology/Audiology from Southern Illinois University and her Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree from Saint Louis University.
