Leann Smith,MD
About
Dr. Smith graduated with an Associate of Science degree in nursing from Cameron University in Lawton, OK, in 1996 and worked as a Registered Nurse and a Managed Care Coordinator until 2002. She then attended medical school and graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2007. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine in 2008 and a residency in Nuclear Medicine in 2011. From 2011 to 2012, Dr. Smith served as the Associate Program Director of Nuclear Medicine and as Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiological Sciences, Nuclear Medicine Division, at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, before completing her residency in Radiation Oncology in 2016, also at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Smith has been a practicing Radiation Oncologist in the Cancer Centers of Southwest Oklahoma since 2016.
