RMC Occupational Medicine Office Now Providing DOT Physicals

Board-certified Occupational Medicine Specialist Dr. Teresa Williams performs a physical in the RMC Occupational Medicine office.
The Occupational Medicine office at the Regional Medical Center is now offering Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals.

DOT physicals are offered for $97; however, in some instances, the exam may be fully or partially covered by the patient’s employer.

Most commercial vehicle drivers are required to have a DOT physical and obtain and maintain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate. A Medical Examiner’s Certificate is valid for 24-months, unless the patient has a condition that needs to be monitored more regularly.

In addition to DOT physicals, the RMC Occupational Medicine office also offers drug screenings, pre-placement physicals, workers compensation evaluations and treatment, Hazmat physicals, college entrance physicals, respiratory clearance physicals, PPD testing, flu shots, vaccines and more.

Appointments are required and can be made by contacting the office at 803-395-3891, or toll-free in S.C. at 800-476-3377, ext. 3891. The office fax number is 803-395-4251.

The RMC Occupational Medicine office is located in the upper level of the RMC Annex Building of the main hospital, located at 3000 St. Matthews Road. Office hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon, and 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
