| The Regional Medical Center Auxiliary’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held Thursday, December 1, beginning at 6 p.m. in the lobby of RMC’s Admitting Entrance.
For more than 25 years RMC's Auxiliary has sponsored the Tree Lighting, which is the primary fund-raiser for the Auxiliary’s Verna Martin Compassionate Care Fund.
Proceeds from the sale of lights benefit patients and their families, based on recommendations from RMC’s Care Planning staff. This assistance is limited and is based on a specific one-time need for essentials such as medications, medical equipment, transportation, clothing, meals and lodging.
The sale of lights will continue throughout the holiday season. A gift of $3 or more per light offers the opportunity to remember and honor someone special. That person's name will appear on the Honor Scroll inside RMC's main entrance, and acknowledgments will also be sent to families or individuals being recognized.
To purchase a tree light or for additional information, please call 395-2425.
