ORANGEBURG, SC-The Regional Medical Center is one of five S.C. Hospital Association-member hospitals that will be partnering with SCHA and the S.C. Department of Education to host an Amazing Hospital Careers Road Show that will showcase the brand new “Amazing Hospital Careers” DVD and website on March 3 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Regional Medical Center’s private dining rooms A & B.
This FREE showcase event is targeted to high school instructors, career specialists, guidance counselors and career development facilitators. Participants will receive a DVD demonstration by SCHA staff who will also provide suggestions for classroom or instructional use. In addition, RMC Human Resource professionals will be on hand to teach participants and demonstrate how skills learned in the classroom transfer to the hospital environment. Each participant will receive a FREE copy of the “Amazing Hospital Careers” DVD series, a $125 value, to use in the classroom or with students and parents.
Complimentary snacks and beverages will be provided, and due to the contract award from the S.C. Department of Education, there is no registration fee for the workshop; however, this workshop is limited to the first 30 to register by February 2.
