The Regional Medical Center announced that its Express Health Care facility in Santee will close on Sundays during the month of March.

“Due to staffing challenges during the month of March, we will be closing Santee Express on Sundays only,” said Regional Medical Center Chief Executive Officer Tom Dandridge. “We will maintain our regular hours during the rest of the week.”

Dandridge said that Santee Express Health Care will continue to be open throughout the week, Monday – Friday, from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and on Saturdays, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

“If people need our services over the weekend during the month of March, we are asking them to come in on Saturday rather than wait until Sunday,” said Dandridge.

Express Health Care in Santee is an after-hours clinic designed to provide medical care when you cannot get a doctor’s appointment. Featuring physician, lab and radiology services, Express Health Care specializes in providing care for minor injuries and routine illnesses.
