| Regional Medical Center’s Respiratory Care team specializes in the assessment and treatment of respiratory and cardiovascular conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, and COPD, and more acute problems stemming from other conditions such as heart attacks, stroke, or trauma as well as complications at birth. In addition to a full complement of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, Regional Medical Center’s respiratory care staff partners with local schools and offers “Open Airways,” an asthma education program for third through fifth graders in all schools in Orangeburg and Calhoun counties. |  |
