A filmless picture archiving communication system (PACS) interfaces with Regional Medical Center’s state-of-the-art imaging modalities like MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), CT (Computerized Tomography), Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound, and provides physicians instant electronic access to digital images. Yet another of Regional Medical Center’s diagnostic/imaging services is mobile PET/CT (Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography) which provides advanced nuclear medicine diagnostics so that physicians can effectively develop treatment therapies for conditions such as cancer, heart disease and Alzheimer’s disease.
