Regional Medical Center Foundation
History and Background
The Regional Medical Center Foundation is the philanthropic umbrella for Regional Medical Center and funds hospital operations, clinical services and community programs to help improve the quality of life for area residents. The Foundation is an independent, nonprofit charitable organization governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees. Started in 1986 by community leaders, employees and volunteers, the Foundation encourages philanthropic contributions that are used to improve the health and quality of life of our community through prevention programs, health education and outreach.
The mission of Regional Medical Center Foundation is to act as a catalyst in promoting The the Regional Medical Center through charitable gifts, education and positive public relations. Contributions to Regional Medical Center Foundation are used locally to help friends and neighbors. The Foundation is operated by three full-time staff members and an active roster of community volunteers.
