Online Baby Nursery

To better meet the needs of our patients, the Regional Medical Center offers newborn parents the option to have their baby's photo placed on our Web site before leaving the hospital. This service is offered through our Newborn Nursery. Parents may decide whether or not they would like to post their child's photo on our secure Web site.

Please note:
  • Children born at the Regional Medical Center are not automatically posted to the Net Nursery — only those newborns whose parents have signed a consent form with our Newborn Nursery will appear. The Net Nursery consent form will be included in the information packet given to the mother at time of check-in to Her Place. After completing the consent form, the signature(s) of parents’ names appearing in Net Nursery must be witnessed by an unrelated hospital employee.
  • Parents are the only ones given the individualized password necessary to visit their child's Web page. The passwords are provided by Newborn Nursery staff. Family and friends must obtain this information directly from the parents. The Regional Medical Center cannot provide anyone with passwords.
  • For security purposes and/or to protect the privacy of parents and the new baby, only a child's first name, middle name and initial of last name, date and time of birth, weight, length, will appear with the photo.
  • A baby's photo will remain posted for 90 days, unless other arrangements are made with our Newborn Nursery.
  • The Regional Medical Center does not maintain copies of the photos posted to our Web site.
