Regional Medical Center’s Nephrology Department studies kidney functions, and diagnoses and treats kidney diseases. Kidney diseases such as electrolyte disturbances and hypertension, and the care of those requiring renal replacement therapy or dialysis are treated by Regional Medical Center’s on-staff nephrologists. Regional Medical Center’s Dialysis services allow patients to have toxic substances removed from their blood when the kidneys are unable to function properly.
