 An outpatient cancer treatment facility, the Mabry Center for Cancer Care at the Regional Medical Center offers the latest in radiation therapy to include IMRT (intensity modulated radiation therapy) and chemotherapy. The Mabry Center is committed to bringing the latest research to its patients through a clinical trials partnership with the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center. In addition to the treatment of cancer, the center emphasizes personal care through educational programs, counseling and support groups.
 The Regional Medical Center’s cancer program was granted the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons’ Three-Year Accreditation with Commendation, which is given only to facilities that have voluntarily committed to providing the highest level of quality cancer care and that undergo a rigorous evaluation process and performance review.
