 The Laboratory provides both inpatient and outpatient services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Lab staff provides chemistry, microbiology, coagulation, serology, hematology, immunohematology, urinalysis, histology, cytology, and autopsy services. Three outpatient satellite labs are open for the care of all patients to include childhood, adolescent, adult and aging adult. Regional Medical Center’s Laboratory also administers the Blood Assurance Program, an independent blood donor program which provides all of Regional Medical Center’s transfusion needs. The Blood Assurance Program is one of only a few independent blood donor programs in SC.
