Home Health and Hospice

Home Health at Regional Medical Center provides skilled nursing and therapy services to help patients regain independence and remain at home. Services include: nursing care and health aide services; pediatric nursing care; post partum/infant home visits; wound certified nursing care; diabetic certified nursing care; physical, occupational and speech therapy; and medical social services. The HomeMed Health Monitoring system collects and transmits vital signs, oxygen saturation and patient weight so that a nurse can track a patient’s progress on a daily basis.

Hospice of Regional Medical Center is a family-centered program that provides services to empower the terminally ill to live life as pain free as possible, while involving families and loved ones in providing care. Our interdisciplinary team of professionals and volunteers are dedicated to enhancing the lives of their patients by providing comfort care, emotional support, personal and spiritual enrichment, as well as alleviating pain and other symptoms so that those with a limited life expectancy can truly live life to its fullest. Hospice of Regional Medical Center is state licensed and Medicare certified. Most of the costs for services are paid by Medicare, Medicaid, Workers’ Compensation, Veterans Administration Insurance or private Insurance.
