Established in 1997, RMC’s Home Health program offers a wide range of in-home nursing services to individuals and their families to include nursing care and home health aide services; pediatric nursing care; post partum/infant home visits; wound certified nursing care; diabetic certified nursing care; physical, occupational and speech therapy; and medical social services.
The success of RMC’s home health program is due largely to its caring, professional staff. The staff understands that patients feel better about themselves when they are at home. Home Health allows patients and their families to have a direct role in the care and recovery process. The clinical expertise of Home Health staff is complemented by compassion for their patients, which, in turn, can also be measured by quality outcomes, quality improvement and financial performances.
Home Health of RMC is a state-licensed, Medicare and Medicaid certified, Joint Commission accredited, hospital-based agency. Most costs for services are paid for by Medicare, Medicaid, Workers’ Compensation, Veterans Administration insurance or private insurance. As a family-centered program, Home Health of RMC offers a wide range of in-home services to individuals and their families.
