Regional Medical Center Chief Operating Officer Lisa Goodlett announced that RMC’s newest fitness and wellness facility, HealthPlex-Branchville, will be available for members to exercise anytime 24 hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week.

“Since we opened the HealthPlex-Branchville facility on November 16th it has been staffed with an exercise physiologist three days a week. To increase access to the exercise equipment for the citizens of this area, we are initiating the Exercise Anytime program, which allows HealthPlex members to use the facility when it is most convenient for them, not just when we have staff on the premises,” said Goodlett.

Goodlett explained that each HealthPlex-Branchville member will be given a unique code to access the building when HealthPlex personnel are not there. “Members will sign a waiver of liability to receive their individual code. The computerized entry system will record which members access the building as well as the dates and times.”

Goodlett also said that members of HealthPlex-Branchville will have access to both of the other HealthPlex facilities, located on the Regional Medical Center campus and at HealthPlex-Santee. “The HealthPlex membership badge will now allow access to all three facilities, no matter where you first joined.”

“We’re excited to offer the Exercise Anytime program in Branchville and the opportunity to access any HealthPlex facility regardless of initial membership,” said Goodlett. “The Regional Medical Center is committed to encouraging the people of Orangeburg and Calhoun counties to lead healthy lives.”

HealthPlex-Branchville is staffed with an exercise physiologist on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Membership rates are $32 per month for a single and $44 per month for a family of up to three members. Additional family members are $15 per individual per month. There are no annual contracts. Fitness tests and personal training sessions are available for $30 per session, $45 for two sessions or $90 for four sessions.
