| Two Family Medicine Physicians Join Holly Hill Practice
Adam Allie, MD, and Antionette Bennett, MD, have joined Family Practice Associates of Holly Hill.
Located at 187 Bunch Ford Road, Family Practice Associates of Holly Hill is owned by Edisto Regional Health Services (ERHS), an affiliate of the Regional Medical Center (RMC).
Adam Allie, MD
 A native of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Dr. Allie received his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown.
He completed an internship at AnMed Health in Anderson, S.C., and his residency in family practice at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport, Tenn.
Prior to medical school, Dr. Allie received a bachelor of science degree in biology/psychology from the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
A newlywed, Dr. Allie is married to the former Evan Hawkins, of Batesville, Ark. She is also a physician.
In his spare time, Dr. Allie enjoys marathon running, listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with his dog, Toby.
Antionette Bennett, MD
 Dr. Bennett, a native of Wadmalaw Island, S.C., received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
She completed an internship and her residency in family practice at Carolinas Medical Center - NorthEast in Concord, N.C.
Dr. Bennett received a master’s degree in clinical laboratory science from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and her bachelor‘s degree in medical technology from Lander University in Greenwood, S.C.
She is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
According to Dr. Bennett, growing up in a medically underserved community in rural South Carolina has inspired her to seek a career in primary care. She is interested in serving the medically underserved in rural communities and is passionate about creating therapeutic relationships with her patients. “As a family practice physician, I am in a unique position to care for all members of a family - from a newborn baby to the elderly. As a personal physician, I am able to establish relationships with my patients and their families, personalizing their treatment," she said.
In her spare time, Dr. Bennett enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.
