 The Regional Medical Center Blood Assurance Program exists to meet the transfusion needs of patients in Orangeburg and Calhoun counties. Since blood is a vital resource that requires constant replenishment, the Blood Assurance Program depends on the active participation of community members to meet the needs of patients.
The Blood Assurance Program has a blood mobile and donor room located at the Hospital. These locations serve the purpose through support of the community. Blood donated is available for use within the community.
The Blood Assurance Program Donor Center is open Monday through Friday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, and Saturday, 10:00 am – 1:30 pm. To set up an appointment, to ask about hosting a blood drive, or for any other information, please contact us by e-mailing our Blood Assurance Coordinator, Shea Woodward at sswoodward@regmed.com or by calling (803) 395-2419.
